Updated video with music

On June 1st, This Is H.O.W. had a car wash fundraiser, and the girls were out in force and having a blast!

Held at Cruisin 7th, the Car Wash was manned by the recently named “Distinguished Service by a woman” Regina Gazelle, and the residents of This Is H.O.W.

It was a warm day, and we had plenty of help from several supporters who stopped by to lend a hand to the girls, who managed to work a line of cars and get them clean as a whistle!

We will be holding these car washes twice a month in the near future, so heck in witht he website often to see the latest!

And don’t forget to watch the video of the girl’s in action!

May, week 3 Update

Filed under: News & Events — regina @ 12:17 pm

May has been a great time at the House of late, as we’ve been conducting weekly yard sales to raise funds for the house.

We’re hoping to have another Car wash soon, and the women are looking forward to that being a success.

We’ve recently received a donation of a new storage shed that we’ll be putting up this weekend.

More members of the local community have become involved with the house recently which is great news, both for the women now and the ones (women and men) to come.

We are looking to the future now, with hope, faith and courage of good things to come.
